August 14 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
SRP Event: Join us for a presentation from the staff of Rogers Environmental Center. From a two-inch masked shrew to a six foot black bear, New York provides habitat for nearly 60 species of land mammals. Using furs and skulls we will examine mammal adaptations and discuss their habitat requirements. Through activities students will role-play interrelationships in the animal world.
