New Woodstock Free Library is pleased and excited to offer a new service to our community; a full range of comics that can be digitally accessed by using your current Library Pass.

Your Library Pass allows full digital access on desktop, mobile, or tablet. Every title is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for offline reading, with unlimited, simultaneous checkout.

In brief, with Comics Plus®, you can have unlimited access to thousands of digital comics, graphic novels, and manga content from a variety of library-friendly publishers at no extra cost.

Explore a diverse selection of new and backlist titles from ABDO, Andrews McMeel, BOOM! Studios, Capstone, Dark Horse, Europe Comics, Fantagraphics, Humanoids, Image Comics, Kodansha, Lerner, Manga Classics, Oni Press, Papercutz, Tokyopop, TOON Books, UDON Entertainment, Yen Press, and dozens more.

Readers can filter titles by age, publisher, language (the majority of non-English comics are in Spanish), and more than 60 categories (music, horror, biography, etc.).

Content is accessible through a web browser (desktop or mobile layout) as well as being served by both iOS and Android apps. Comics can be downloaded to the app version for seven-day increments and can be re-downloaded on demand.

Users can save their place to resume reading later; copy a link or share it via email, Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest; switch between one- or two-page view; zoom in and out or go directly to a page elsewhere in the book.

The best bit is that because it is digital, there are no holds, wait lists or monthly borrowing limits.
