September Book Club - Wednesday, September 6th

Our book club meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m.. You may attend in person or via Zoom; please e-mail Clara at clantz@midyork.org to receive the Zoom link. This month, we will be discussing the novel Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez. The story: Dr. Briana Ortiz’s life is seriously flatlining. Her divorce is just about finalized, her brother’s running out of time to find a kidney donor, and the promotion she wants is probably going to go to the new man-doctor who’s a royal pain. Just when she thinks she hates Dr. Jacob Maddox, he sends her a letter. Briana learns that he is not actually Satan, and they begin exchanging letters . . . and sharing lunch dates. Could she be brave enough to risk her heart?
