| By | < 1 min read

Join Master Gardener Julie Poplaski to talk about compost

On Saturday, June 8th, at 10:00 a.m., Julie Poplaski of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Madison County comes to the library to talk about everything you ever wanted to know about compost.

She will cover everything from how to set up a new composting system and what to put in it and how to maintain it, through how to troubleshoot an existing composting installation. She will be on hand to answer your questions about the merits of various types of food and yard waste and how to determine when your compost is ready to use.

This event is free, but seating spaces are limited, so if you are planning to attend, please call the library at 315-662-3134 to register your interest.
