Crystals, Rocks, and Diamonds – Oh, My!

On Wednesday, July 22nd, at 5:30 p.m., Wendy Russell will lead us in learning about Herkimer Diamonds!  During the program, each child will receive a Jr. Geologist booklet to fill out and keep.

The highlight of the program will be a hands-on “crystal mining” activity.  Children will mine their own Herkimer crystals, study them, and document what they find.  All materials provided.

At the end of the session, each child will create a crystal necklace to wear home, and will also receive a small treasure bag to hold any additional crystals they collect.  This super-duper special program is limited to 30 children ages 6-14.  Sign up by calling the New Woodstock Free Library at 315-662-3134
