New Art Exhibit Coming to Our Gallery (The Frances Fuggle Program Room):

Paul Silverstein Woodturning

November 9 – December 26, 2026

Meet the Artist – “From Tree to Bowl” – Saturday, November 14th, 1:00-3:00 p.m. Drop in and discover the beauty of local wood.

The New Woodstock Free Library is proud to present award-winning Paul Silverstein’s woodturnings as its final exhibit in 2026. While many exotic woods make beautiful projects, Mr. Silverstein finds local woods have a beauty of their own and grounds him more closely to the local area. Most of the objects shown are from wood found right around here. Meet the artist and discuss turning, the beauty of bowls, projects, woodworking, woodgrain, moisture content, sources, dendrology, the weather, or whatever you like.
